WELCOME TO THE PLANT LIBRARY!
From native plants to ornamental perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees, here we attempt to give you a world of resources, from pictures for identifying plants to basic information about each species. Since we’re unable to document every single plant that you might find in any given garden, we tried to include the most popular plants that grow well in the Rocky Mountain region, including common weeds that you might encounter. We focus on plants that grow and will do well at elevations approximately 4,500 ft. above sea level and higher. Some of them will be plants that do well in the high plains, foothills and mountain valleys and others will be those equipped to withstand higher altitude climates and soils.
