Our Mission
Hello friends! The Rocky Mountain Gardener is a new website and organization dedicated to providing conscious education and information about all things gardening! Whether you’re a small-time home gardener or a farm-scale grower, we aspire to address the unique set of challenges that face regional gardeners who live in and around the beautiful Rocky Mountains. As we witness the world experience drastic environmental decline, when we go to the grocery store, we feel hopeless by the cost of organic food (even more expensive at local farmer’s markets) and fatigued by the daunting task of trying to figure out whether or not our food has poisonous chemicals, plastics, or heavy metals. In addition, we’re faced with political and economic instability so it only makes sense to strive for self-sufficiency however we can. This site is about taking charge of your food and building your very own Victory Garden.
At The Rocky Mountain Gardener, we believe that it’s important to present our content free of intrusive advertisements, which make it hard to read through material with ease. We also intend to never implement a paywall for our content that we would like to maintain free and accessible to the general public.
